Founded by collector and advisor Tarun Khanna, 108 Art Projects is an independent arts initiative that develops exhibitions and special projects around significant voices in modern and contemporary Indian art. Conceived as a space for meaningful artistic collaborations rather than a conventional gallery programme, it works across exhibitions, artist estates, institutional partnerships, publications and collection-building, bringing together scholarship, connoisseurship and thoughtful exhibition-making.

Its projects have engaged with the work of artists including M.F. Husain, S.H. Raza, K.H. Ara, P. Barwe, Sohan Qadri, Gulam Rasool Santosh, Manu Parekh, Madhvi Parekh, Bakre, Reba Hore , Somnath Hore and Mrinalini Mukherjee, while also undertaking long-term legacy initiatives around artists’ estates, including the Estate of Lancelot Ribeiro, S. Dhanpal, Reba Hore and others.

Through each project, 108 Art Projects seeks to place artists, their work and their enduring cultural significance at the centre of the conversation.
